The word 'unique' is not uncommon when writers

27-hole Rossland-Trail Country Club, 'unique' is hardly adequate.
Preserved in the heart of Rossland, and dating back to 1928, the
charming 9-hole Rossland Course is historic heaven for golf purists.
Hilly (there is a tow-rope to assist golfers on one hole) and loaded

The longer 18-hole
Birchbank Course is a tree-lined jewel that features glorious views
of the Columbia River. As a host for the BC Amateur
Championship, Birchbank is a tremendous shot-maker's test with
large, undulating greens. |
"The view from the 4th tee is
unbelievable," says Head Pro Kevin Nesbitt. "Most people find it
difficult to concentrate on that corner of the golf course.
