Rossland Museum & LeRoi Mine

First discovered by two prospectors, the LeRoi mine claim started the gold rush in Rossland. (1890-1934)

Known as the 'Golden City', the LeRoi Mine produced more gold than all of the creeks and rivers of British Columbia, totaling nearly $30 million dollars.

Today, visitors can enjoy a guided tour of the LeRoi Mine. The tour high-lights the mining equipment and history of the various mines located in the Rossland area.

Tours are available from mid-May to mid-September, daily 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. You may also like to try your luck at gold panning or visit the Tea Room Restaurant. Located at the Highway junctions of #22 and 3B.
