Fisher Peak - a Kootenay Rockies Icon

Kootenay Rockies Tourism holds copyrights to hundreds of images which depict the scenery, activities and attractions of the Kootenay Rockies region. The Kootenay Rockies Image Bank has been developed over a fifteen year period, utilizing the services of a number of professional photographers.

These images are available to Partners of the association for publishing in brochures and on the internet.

Through application to Kootenay Rockies Tourism, Partners can save thousands of dollars on their publishing activities, through the use of generic shots which can enhance the salability of their individual products. With the cost of a professional photographer rate, travel and film averaging $1000/day, the Kootenay Rockies Tourism Image Bank Program is a partner benefit of primary importance.

The application is available by fax, or can be completed online by clicking below. The images are limited in use to brochure or electronic publishing that promote visitation to the partner property; or that promotes the sale of real estate.

Nominal fees are charged for image use, to offset the costs of cataloguing, digital storage and transfer.   Usage fees vary by the type of promotion - travel or real estate based. The intent of the promotional efforts must be clearly identified in the application.

For further information on this important partner benefit, please contact Karen Cook Karen@KootenayRockies.com.
