Nelson Area Disc Golf

Disc golf is a ton of fun and there are a variety of courses around the Nelson and Kootenay Lake area. The courses range from beginner-friendly to extremely advanced – something for everyone. Each course offers natural beauty, excellent hole design and friendly local disc enthusiasts.

BLEWETT
Moments west of Nelson, the Highwater Course is an up and coming addition to the region’s courses – this course is still being completed but is fully playable.  It offers 18 holes set alongside the Kootenay River and Bonnington Range.

KASLO
The Kaslo Course is located next to the Kaslo River trail network. It offer 18 holes amongst beautiful cedar trees.

NELSON
Situated at Art Gibbon Park, amongst gorgeous cedars and unique rock formations. It consists of 9 holes and offers a more methodical take on the disc golf challenge favouring tree-covered fairways and unique basket placement over massive distances.

YMIR
Clove Bear Course, just south of Nelson, is a hidden gem boasting 18 holes and a mixture of technical and wide-open design. Watch out for unique tchotchkes, sculptures and other oddities placed around the course as you play a round.
