Amiskwi Lodge

In the Rocky Mountains, you will find spectacular scenery, excellent backcountry powder skiing, snowboarding and summer hiking high above the treeline.  Amiskwi is a self-guided and self-catered lodge on the Yoho National Park boundary at 2,104 metres (6,900 ft) north from Golden – helicopter access only.

The Lodge

The lodge has a fully-equipped kitchen, wood heat, solar lights and two indoor composting toilets. The wood fired sauna heats the water for two showers. The second floor provides 4 sleeping areas furnished with 4 double and 10 single foam beds.  Further amenities include:

• heavy-duty coolers with freezer packs
• coffee percolator
• satellite phone
• firewood
• 3 power outlets
• fresh natural water
