This park is located where Blanket Creek flows into the Columbia River just north of the Upper Arrow Lake approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) south of Revelstoke on Hwy #23.
Remnants of the heritage farm and its wide array of trees, both native and imported is a relic of pioneer orchardists who first home-steaded the area.
Picnicking in the shade of a spectacular 12 metre (40 ft) Sutherland Falls, swimming in the quiet lagoon and the nature study along the trails make this park popular with the whole family.
Campsite reservations are accepted for a number of sites; others are on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors can select any non-reserved site and staff will come to collect fee.
The campground contains 105 vehicle accessible sites, 7 of these are doubles as well as 2 group sites.
Many of the sites are considered large and can accommodate extra vehicles.
The campground offers a selection of both open / sunny sites or wooded / shaded sites in a mixed smaller forest of white pine, cedar and hemlock.
