Columbia Wetlands Outpost

Nestled between the Columbia River wetlands and the Canadian Rockies, the Columbia Wetlands Outpost Lodge is a self-catered property providing an excellent home base for all your mountain and river adventures.

The lodge sleeps 14 people comfortably in 6 separate bedrooms.  The gorgeous open concept kitchen and dining area, combined with the spacious living room areas, provide ample space for your group to socialize.

Soak in the private 8-person hot tub while you take in the mountain views and relax after a day of adventure.

Alternate on-site accommodation includes camping, Farmhouse suite and Ridgeline cabin.
From all their accommodations, you can take a short walk to the 27-hole disc golf course and Wetlands Outpost Adventures.

Activities

Access hiking, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing trails right from the door. Walk five minutes to the Columbia River or take a short drive and immerse yourself in world-class mountain biking, golfing, river rafting, sledding and skiing.

A roadside attraction and beautiful picnic spot – Mark Teasdale has constructed a 60 foot paddle out of one Western Red Cedar log.  It took 200 hours of labour, 4 gallons of varathane to create the 9 foot high and 5,300 lb paddle.

Naturalists converge on Golden as a vantage point for wildlife viewing and birdwatching. Anglers fish the rivers and lakes for trophies. Cyclists travel the celebrated Golden Triangle or mountain bike their way over hundreds of miles of alpine trails.
