An artisan gallery and studio space in downtown Fernie.
Fernie Forge blacksmith, Sandra Barrett incorporates glass and felt into her sculptural steel work.
She was inspired to forge a collaboration with other metal work, glass and felt artisans to showcase glass and felt in the gallery. The gallery carries various works by a select group of artisans from Canada and around the world.
Upstairs is Sandra’s felting studio and extensive yarn room, including knitting yarn made from 100% milk.
The Gallery is open Thursdays and Fridays, 10am to 5pm; Saturdays 11:30am to 5:30pm and Sundays 11:30 to 4pm.
The Studio is open by appointment or design.
Fernie is the largest community in the Elk Valley is also the oldest.
