This small cozy property is set in the picturesque village of Radium Hot Springs. The Gateway is located alongside Highway 93, just 5 minutes from the entrance to Kootenay National Park and the famous Radium Hot Springs pools.

A light continental breakfast is offered between 8-10am. It includes a variety of baked goods (made daily), fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice. Traditional espresso and specialty coffees can be made fresh to order.

Major events for the village of Radium Hot Springs include Wings Over the Rockies (first week in May), the Classic Car show (Sept) and Music & Market on Main, Fridays during the summer; Market from 4-9pm and Music from 7-9pm.
The Visitor Centre offers a wildlife exhibit which includes a number of educational pieces: a mountain goat, a bighorn sheep, a black bear, cougar and a loon. There is also a Ktunaxa (First Nations) heritage exhibit offering an interpretive centre with artifacts.

Mountain Biking Trails
This area is home to hundreds of kilometres of world-class trails: Old Coach, Lake Lillian and Nipika Cross River Canyon Trails. A number of biking events also take place such as the Kootenay Krusher – early-June.
Nearby Bugaboo Provincial Park
Situated in the Purcell Mountains, this park continues to draw climbers from around the world to its airy, glacier-sculpted granite spires.
