Heather Mountain Lodge is a beautiful 22-room timberframe lodge crafted from massive fir and larch beams pinned together with oak and mahogany dowels. You’ll instantly realize you have arrived at a very special place.
During the winter season (December-April), Heather Mountain Lodge is a heli-skiing lodge and home to its sister company Great Canadian Heli-Skiing. A maximum of 24 guests each week enjoy a thousand square miles (2,500 square km) of untracked Selkirk powder in groups of four skiers, one guide and a helicopter.
During the summer months (June-September), the lodge is the ideal place from which to base your tour adventure holiday or an overnight stay as you travel the Trans Canada Highway. Activities are endless; choose from heli-hiking, whitewater rafting, mountain biking and much more.
To complete the rustic ambiance, the lodge also includes two immense riverstone fireplaces, a dining room, outdoor patio, lounge, games room and gift shop.
Each of the guest rooms include full baths and views of the Alder Creek Valley.
The property also offers private rustic-luxe cabin accommodation.
