Each Question of the assessment has been assigned a specific point value based on the environmental, social and economic impacts of the particular action. Sustainable Tourism Grading Levels: Platinum 90%+ / Gold 75-89% / Silver 55-74% / Bronze 35-45%.

The Tamarack Lodge (built in 2005) includes 8 deluxe guest rooms with spacious ensuite bathrooms. This lodge also includes the wellness spa facility and main dining room, with great views of the Lizard Range.
The Cedar Lodge also features 8 deluxe guest rooms. Each room hosts a patio and spacious ensuite bathroom. This lodge is complete with two beautifully appointed common rooms and cedar barrel sauna.
The Red Eagle Lodge (built in 1996) is a standard but cozy log cabin with two common areas. The 10 comfortable guest rooms feature ensuite bathrooms. This lodge also has a large front deck and cedar barrel sauna.
Extensive updates were made to ILL’s guestrooms and common spaces in the Fall of 2023. Everything from what you do, see, taste and feel is an experience like no other in this intimate mountain setting. Don’t forget – Island Lake is off the grid! Don’t expect TVs, A/C or refrigerators in your room – it’s true backcountry.
