It’s the perfect place to get away from your hectic lifestyle, soak in the hot mineral pool and rejuvenate your mind and body.
Beautiful, retro chalets are clean and cozy, and provide guests with kitchens and kitchenettes (depending on the size of the unit). They are a perfect retreat for families, couples, and seniors, and nothing beats their proximity to the hot springs. The units contain satellite TV but, best of all, no telephones or wireless internet access (though there is a phone and internet connection at the Chalet Office).
A short walk from the hot springs is the Nakusp Hot Springs RV and tenting Campground featuring shaded sites near the Kuskanax Creek. Thirty sites have power plus some overflow and a tenting area. Campground open May 1 to mid-October.
There are also hiking and mountain biking trails through beautiful old growth forests.
A covered bridge with seating and glass viewing panels spans the Kuskanax. On a hot day, it’s a great place to spend some time. Also a short walk from the hot springs.
The Nakusp Hot Springs offers over 200 acres of year-round outdoor recreation. The area is an immense untouched wilderness for outdoor enthusiasts. Trail Maps are available at the Visitor Centre.
