Nelson Brewing Company

Established in 1991, Nelson Brewing Company has been dedicated to producing all natural, full flavoured beer. Since becoming Certified Organic in 2006, NBC’s beer has been produced without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or genetic engineering. These environmentally sustainable practices, which use all certified organic ingredients right down to the cleaning and sanitation processes that must adhere to the strictest guidelines, fall in line with what the City of Nelson’s culture is all about.

In the summer of 2017, Nelson Brewing Company opened its Tasting Room. It offers sampler flights and growler fills with the Brewery’s Legendary Organic Ales, plus ‘Locals Only’ releases, crafted on the Pilot Brew system and available only at the brewery. Tours are available of the facility, which was built over 100 years ago and there is a retail space with a large variety of NBC merchandise available for purchase.
