Polaris Lodge

Located at the base of the Kimberley Alpine Resort.

A ski to your door condo in the winter and a fun village setting in the summer. It is also home to the Stemwinder’s Pub, open during the winter season.

The lodge consists of 14 suites. Units are equipped with balconies, kitchens, riverstone fireplaces, beautifully appointed bathrooms with jetted tubs.

Access to underground parking, fitness centre, swimming pool and other amenities located just next door at the Trickle Creek Lodge. Trickle Creek Lodge is also where you check-in.

The city of Kimberley is set in an exquisite location on the western slope of the valley. This former mining town has recreated itself as a tourism destination, complete with championship golf courses, ski resort and an underground railway that takes visitors into the Sullivan Mine.

You’ll also enjoy downtown Kimberley, the Platzl, it’s an outdoor pedestrian mall with many restaurants and shops such as Arrow & Axe and Black Dog Cycle and Ski.

Dining options include Japanese and German restaurants, to a Wood-fired Pizzeria,   Craft Brew Pub  and the popular Pedal & Tap.

Canada’s largest free-standing Cuckoo Clock is set in the Platzl – put a coin in and out comes Happy Hans.  A forest-trimmed path leads from the Platzl to the aromatically captivating Cominco Gardens. This property includes pathways, seating area and acres of gardens filled with thousands of colourful blossoms and giant larch trees.
