Fish for the famous Gerrard Rainbow Trout native to Kootenay Lake, which have been caught up to 35 lbs (a Canadian Record), to Dolly Varden, which have been caught up to 29 lbs (another Canadian Record) and Kokanee Salmon.
The Columbia River boasts amazing fly fishing opportunities for powerful Rainbows as well as fantastic fishing for Walleye.
Kootenay Lake does not freeze over in the winter, so it is known for a year-round fishery. During winter month, Reel Adventures concentrates on the waters of Kootenay Lake as well as Arrow Lake.

Walk and wade trips can be experienced on nearby waters and allows us to connect with nature as you stroll down some paths to spots on the river. Float or drift packages will get you to spots using the jetsled or drift boat.
