Revelstoke Local Tours is an interpretive hiking and guiding company and they are recognized by the Interpretive Guiding Association (IGA) as professional and apprentice guides capable of leading groups of up to 12 guests.
The Greenbelt Walk
Their most popular tour – a one hour leisurely stroll along a paved pathway alongside the Columbia River.
Nels Nelsen Tour
This tour takes approximately 2 hours for the round trip and tells the story of Revelstoke local Nels Nelsen who set a world record for the longest ski jump as you journey into the past and up the Big Hill where he took flight, time and time again.
Westside Lookout and Waterfall Tour
A very enjoyable 3 hour tour which follows the Jordan River at the valley bottom before you start the ascent up to a very rewarding viewpoint overlooking the town atop Boulder Mountain.
The guides are storytellers, experienced hikers and stewards of people and places.
