Perched high in the Monashee Mountains, Rossland was the site of Canada’s richest 19th century gold strikes. Today, the mountain lovers who flock here strike gold on the outstanding mountain bike trail network.
With a deep history of biking on old railway beds and miner’s trails, Rossland is one of the founding bike destinations in BC and is also known as the Mountain Biking Capital of Canada.
The Seven Summits Trail (pictured above) is a spectacular point to point single track traverse of the Rossland Range. It is widely acclaimed by mountain bikers and acknowledged by the International Mountain Biking Association.
The nearby city of Trail offers the incredible Columbia River Skywalk, the popular Sunningdale / Bluffs Loop and more in the neighbouring communities, such as Warfield and Montrose.
