The Enchanted Forest is located midway between Revelstoke and Sicamous. It is 32 km (20 mi) west of the city of Revelstoke set in one of BC’s beautiful old growth forests in the Monashee Mountains.
Open during the summer until October, 7 days a week. The Enchanted Forest has won Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence in 2014 and 2015. The attraction began many years ago as the realization of a dream and has evolved over the years into a unique attraction that appeals to every age.
The Enchanted Forest is a magical place where visitors can see, touch and step into the homes of fairytale heroes, villains and creatures that hold so many memories for all of us. The mail trail of the grand forest provides the setting for over 350 jolly folk art figurines, BC’s tallest grandest treehouse that rises fifty feet into the forest canopy and a giant stump house with surprises around every corner. The Enchanted Forest’s fascinating history, beauty and lush vegetation provides every member of the family, an unforgettable memory. Boardwalk through the Wildlands – The self-guided Wildland Interpretive Nature Walk is a wonderful 2 kilometre route through a lush BC forest. You will discover a variety of trees including fir, cedar, hemlock, white spruce, cottonwood and a giant 800 year old cedar grove! Along the boardwalk, you will see a natural exhibition display of edible plants, herbs and roots. Deer and moose trails cross the area and in the fall, from the bridge, salmon and trout may be seen spawning in the Eagle River.
You may also enjoy a Row Boat Tour of the Wetlands. Experience a self-guided row boat tour to see beaver dams, lodges, floating natural gardens, frogs and lily pads thrive in a large wetland beaver pond. Four rowboats are available which hold up to 4 people.
