Wedgwood Manor & Glamping Retreat

Wedgwood Manor in Crawford Bay is set on 50-acre estate on Kootenay Lake’s East Shore.

It has stood since 1910 and was built for the daughter of British china magnate Josiah Wedgwood. The Manor is an intriguing English Country House in the midst of natural beauty. It is beautifully restored and decorated with contemporary art.

Each of the guest rooms is spacious, have private baths and large windows with views of the glacier or gardens:

The Squirrel’s Den (cabin) is situated on the edge of the forest overlooking the grounds.  This vacation rental makes a perfect holiday getaway for a couple. The cathedral ceiling is accented with cedar timbers. The loft bedroom has a ultra-comfortable queen bed and a claw-foot tub, with lots of windows to catch the cool night breezes and pure mountain air.

Crawford Bay is a small community of Kootenay Lake and home to  a diverse group of artisans. The unique studios are within easy walking distance from each other. Enjoy browsing the shops and watching the artisans at work.
