Windermere Valley Museum

This museum consists of six buildings furnished with pioneer artifacts. The centrepiece is a fine old log CPR station rescued from demolition by the District Historical Society.

Visit soon to explore heritage buildings, view outside exhibits and enjoy grassy shaded grounds with beautiful views of Windermere Lake, the Columbia River and mountains beyond.

Photographic Collection

The museum also houses an extensive photographic collection that may be of interest to researchers and the general public.

Buildings and Grounds

Be sure to check out The Station, Brisco Schoolhouse, Notary Building / General Store, Pioneer Cabin, Blakley Cabin, Lord’s Cabin, Legion Building, Mining Cabin and the Ice House.
